Shotgun Mic KitS

B&H shotgun microphone kits give you all the gear you need to get the job done. We have

put together several well thought out combinations that center around some of our most

popular and effective shotgun models. Our basic level shotguns offer great performance

for the dollar, and feature lightweight yet durable construction. Deluxe kit mics are

characterized by the increased rich and open sound quality you might expect from an

upper-level model, with even higher component standards. Because of their sensitivity to

wind and handling noise, each kit contains a camera-mountable suspension shock mount to

provide isolation from inadvertent shocks, and a high-quality wind cover to provide effective

wind protection on outdoor shoots. Also provided is a pistol grip, which is great for close

handheld applications, light packing, or for those times where a pole is just too obtrusive.

For those occasions where optimal reach is desired, basic kits provide easy-handling

aluminum boompoles, while deluxe kits come with even lighter carbon ﬁber models. 20-ft.

and 1.5-ft. cables round out the systems with the deluxe kit 1.5-ft. cables being coiled.

A dependable wireless microphone system is a must-have in any Audio For Video sound

kit. The ability to capture your subject without the use of cumbersome cables provides

freedom of movement, and at times may be the only alternative you may have in a

given situation. Our Wireless ENG Kits are designed to get you working right away while

leaving room to expand as your needs grow. We start with some of our most popular

multi-channel UHF wireless lavalier systems, that have proven to be solid performers in

the areas of sound quality and reliability. When a lavalier is a less than optimum option,

you can make use of the provided plug-in transmitter to connect to a shotgun, handheld,

or other microphone as well as a line level signal source in some cases. A professional

omnidirectional handheld mic is also included, along with a waterproof carrying case,

packed with foam inserts. Deluxe kits feature the added beneﬁt of an upgraded broadcast

quality lavalier microphone, which is the ultimate way to improve the sound quality of a

standard system.
